Confirmation
Confirmation is a two-year program in which students and their parents commit to study, learn, and serve together to grow their faith.
Typically done in the student’s 7th and 8th grade years, the students and parents meet about twice a month in the first year covering various topics such as the Bible, the 10 Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
In the second year, the students and parents take part in the 12-week ALPHA course in the first semester and then meet about twice a month during the second semester. The Confirmation Service takes place in the fall after they complete their two-year program.
